Hi there, let Zugui Zhang feed your mind March 2, 2017.

Count data reflects the number of occurrences of some events in a fixed period of time.  Count data is increasingly common in clinical research, such as the number of adverse events occurring during a follow up period, the number of hospitalizations, or the number of seizures in epileptics. In cases in which the outcome is a count variable, standard ordinary least squares regression may produce biased results. This presentation will provide the statistical methodology to regression models that provide appropriate analyses for count data.
