With support from the state of Delaware, the Delaware Biotechnology Institute is pleased to announce a call for Delaware Bioscience Center for Advanced Technology (Bioscience CAT) proposals. With the goal of increasing the competitiveness of Delaware companies, the Bioscience CAT is designed to spur biotechnology-based applied research and economic development in Delaware; facilitate and encourage research collaborations between Delaware businesses and Delaware academic institutions; and leverage state funds with investments from the federal government, industry, and foundations. The Bioscience CAT links academic researchers in Delaware institutions with start-up, small, medium, and large bioscience companies and will be administered by the Delaware Biotechnology Institute with THREE key components: Applied Research Collaborations, Technology Access Program and Entrepreneurial Proof of Concept.
