Core Access Awards & Core Developement Awards

The Delaware INBRE Centralized Shared Resources Core (CSR) has several mechanisms to facilitate its affiliated cores. Applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis until December 15, 2019, as funds remain available.

The Core Center Access Award, supported by NIGMS P20GM103446, is available to assist biomedical research investigators in conducting:

The awards must be completed within six months of award date and may not exceed $4,000.

Core center access awards may be used for one or a combination of core services. The full budget must be provided in the application and additional costs must be co-funded by the applicant’s institution. Applications will be reviewed on the 1st and 15th of each month, and awardees will be notified by Delaware INBRE staff upon completion of leadership review.

The Delaware INBRE Instrumentation Core Development Award is supported by the University of Delaware INBRE Office in order to enable staff from the affiliated INBRE cores to attend a workshop, offsite training, or conference. This award is aimed at core facility directors and research scientists that would like to develop new skills.

Please complete the Development Award form and submit your request to the Delaware INBRE office at info@de-inbre.org. Development Award applications will be reviewed by the Delaware INBRE Core leaders. Awardee and the appropriate core director will be notified via email of award decision.

Core Access Awards for projects requiring the analysis of Medicaid data.  Core Center Access Awards in the amount of $8,000 per project are available to use in support of research projects requiring the analysis of Medicaid data.  Up to 3 projects will be funded in the current funding cycle ending April 15, 2020.  DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: October 21, 2019

Please note: Funds must be used by April 15, 2020 and must be used only for the processing and analysis of Medicaid data, not for the investigator’s effort or students’ effort on the project.
